After this beautiful west coast route we hit the road the next day very early. It was a 2 hour drive to the Isle of Skye. The Talisker distillery was the first spot we wanted to see.

Since we hadn’t booked anything before the trip we highly believed that we wouldnt find anything to sleep on the island itself. (And again,  everybody told us because Skye is very popular).

After a great Talisker Whiskey Tasting (I obviously had just one since I was the driver) we went to an awesome seafood spot right up the hill. Oysters, Scallops, Lobster and Salmon. All caught locally. Incredible and cheap!

We hit the road to drive around Skye. Again one lane roads with just a few passing places is way more exhausting then a free Autobahn on a Sunday morning, I tell you!

Went to the northest point of Skye to this little castle. Since it was already getting late we thought we could try our luck and check for some B&Bs. After the second try we got a real jackpot. In the middle of nowhere there was this old lady having two rooms available since she doesn’t offer anything on Air BNB or bookings.com. Went for a little walk and straight to bed. Awesome day!
